Catch Me at TOC

I’m thrilled to be taking part in O’Reilly’s first-ever TOC (Tools of Change) conference. Here’s my session info.

The Rise of Authentic Media
The audience is taking over! From YouTube videos to Flickr photos to Threadless shirts, communities are making the media they once just consumed. But how do you empower a community AND get great results? And how do you make money without trashing the community? Join Internet pioneer Derek Powazek for a discussion about how you can harness the wisdom of your crowd, and an overview of who’s doing it right, and who’s not.

If you’re attending TOC, be sure to stop by!

Great session Derek - I wish I’d heard it before we launched our crowdsourced novel experiment, amillionpenguins but I guess it was important for us to make the mistakes for ourselves. Thanks for the food for thought.
