The Details
I have a personal website at DarrenBarefoot.com. It needs a redesign. I'm looking for source art. It'll be used in creating a new blog header, and as inspiration for the site's new colour scheme and other design elements.
I've got a web designer who will build a template based on your work. You don't have to meet exactly parameters in terms of pixel size.
I'd like the image to integrate two elements:
* A movie set sign with my initials ("DB"). You can see a photo of such a sign here (http://tinyurl.com/2xo6p2). These movie set signs are ubiquitous in my home town of Vancouver.
* A photo or rendering of myself. Here are 194 CC-licensed photos of me. Use one that you think is flattering. Note that CC-licensed photos still require attribution of the original photographer (http://tinyurl.com/27qkqa).
You can combine these two elements as you see fit.
The Reward: $200

I'll pay CAN $200 (US $198.63) and include a permanent link to your portfolio on my About page. I've referred work on several occasions based on queries about my current site's design.
Submission Guidelines:
- Maximum 2 photo or illustration submissions per member.
- Images must be at least 1200 pixels wide/high.
- Any digital adjustments (color, contrast, sharpness) allowed.
- Illustrations can be hand-drawn, vector line art, paintings, or mixed-media.
- File types allowed: JPG or PNG.
The Publication
DarrenBarefoot.com is my personal website and blog, and fairly popular in the Canadian blogosphere (in 2007, it had about 1.5 million visitors).

I still like the aesthetic and tone of the current site. Some other stuff I like:
