The Details
1 or 2 illustrations to go at the top of chapter pages for a weekly online novella. I want a "sea-dragon" type drawing like you would see on old maps, more "fear of the unknown" rather than "big scary sea monster". Black and white or Color, anything goes.
The Reward
This is just for fun!
The artist will be credited and linked in the "About the Story" page, along with 5 physical copies of the limited edition print version (after the novella is completed). Negotiation for paid compensation TBD upon initial reception and sales. (Meaning, if we make it big, I will talk with you about getting you a cut of the pie!)
Submission Guidelines:
- Maximum 1 illustration submissions per member.
- Images must be at least 800 pixels wide/high.
- Illustrations can be hand-drawn, vector line art, paintings, or mixed-media.
- File types allowed: JPG, GIF, or PNG.
The Publication
A new online magazine to be launched following SXSW 2008.
Your work will appear online at TBD and printed in ‘Limited Edition run following the completion of the novella.’.
